Administrative Assistant

Philadelphia, PA

The Waldorf School of Philadelphia is searching for an Administrative Assistant to support and collaborate with our administration team and teachers. This is a year-round position that is ideal for someone interested in learning more about Waldorf education and includes benefits, paid school holidays, and paid time off.

This position reports to the Director of Operations, but supports the school in general. The Administrative Assistant will be the welcoming face and voice for our school community, and they will have specific daily responsibilities including receptionist duties, general office organization tasks, and support of various school-day functions. There may be some weekend and evening hours required as this position also supports special events and projects.

The ideal candidate is interested in education, is confident in using technology and standard office software, and has demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Flexibility is a key component of this position as it includes assistance as needed on special projects and events. This is a full-time position and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
