Development Services & Database Manager
Exciting opportunity to join the Development Team at Holy Ghost Prep! Holy Ghost Preparatory School seeks a full-time Development Services & Database Manager to successfully oversee and manage the school’s fundraising database system, prospect research program, and fundraising reporting for the Office of Development. Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Development Services & Database Manager provides critical support to the Development Team and leads overall functions related to database management and prospect research. This will include gift-processing, acknowledgement letters, benchmark reporting, analysis and forecasting in response to fundraising needs; while assuring quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of all data. The Development Services & Database Manager will possess a positive attitude, an acute attention to detail, understanding of best practices related to development, and will demonstrate an ability to problem-solve.
The Manager will also provide training and best practices to Development Staff for software used for fundraising purposes, including the Raiser’s Edge, Finalsite emails and webpages, and OneCause (BidPal) auction platform.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of Raiser’s Edge database, including creating new records, updating records, tracking events, and importing data from other school platforms such as Finalsite and Schoology when necessary
- Perform data queries based on solicitation and event segmentation strategies in Raiser’s Edge. Export reports for mailing lists, event RSVP lists, and historical data to support fundraising strategies.
- Manage gift acknowledgement letters for all donations, and all pledge forms (incl. reminders).
- Tracking and approving matching gifts, and transmitting funds to the Finance Office for deposit.
- Prospect Research duties for donors and foundations
- Reporting – Prepare and oversee the monthly Development Management Report. This will include revenue streams plus data for special events, major annual fund initiatives, and campaign performance.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the development team.
- Manage Development website pages and giving forms.
- Export all mail lists for annual fund appeals, events, and campaign mailings
- Serve as the Development liaison to the Finance Office regarding monthly reconciliation and annual audit.
- Work with the Executive Director to organize and coordinate fundraising committees, such as the Development Committee of the BOT and campaign fundraising committees.
- Attend HGP development related events and other Development initiatives.
- Other office support as needed.
Competencies
- Knowledge of Blackbaud's, Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Office Suite; Finalsite a plus

Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years working with database management
- Positive and enthusiastic approach

- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Catholic Education
- Familiarity with fundraising management systems
- Experience in working in a private 9-12 high school environment
