Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach (2024-25)

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is seeking a head coach for our Girls Varsity Lacrosse program. Located in Bryn Mawr, PA and a member of the Friends School League (FSL), Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is a pluralistic Jewish day school for students in grades 6-12. This position is responsible for, under the guidance of the Director of Athletics, the leadership of the Girls Varsity Lacrosse program.
Qualifications:
- Prior successful coaching experience
- Knowledge of skill development
- Ability to motivate and teach student-athletes in a positive environment
- Proven ability to exemplify JBHA’s core values of honor, courage, kindness, and community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training program to facilitate student-athletes reaching their full potential, including a full in-season varsity schedule and limited off-season practice opportunities
- Assist in recruiting and mentoring assistant and middle school coaches
- Assist in identifying potential prospective student-athletes
- Effectively communicate with players, parents, staff, and administration while upholding Barrack’s values of honor, courage, kindness, and community
- Establish a strong and positive team culture that values JBHA’s core values of honor, courage, kindness, and community.
- Attend Friends School League (FSL) preseason and postseason meetings
Schedule:
- Weekday practices are typically Monday-Thursday (3:45-5:45).
- All Fridays and Saturdays are off.
- On-campus, offseason practice opportunities exist in the offseason.
