Head of School

The Meadowbrook School, an independent day school in Abington, PA, for children in preschool through grade six, is seeking a compassionate and forward-thinking Head of School for July 1, 2025.

Meadowbrook is home to 120 students in the Northern Philadelphia suburbs and endeavors to bring life to learning for its students, creating an environment where learning is personal and each child develops self-confidence, leadership, and individual responsibility as they grow academically. At Meadowbrook, everybody knows everyone, no students’ unique talents are left unnoticed, and no child is overlooked. 

The next Head will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated faculty and staff and a committed board of trustees to advance a school community that is child-centered and intentionally elementary, described by parents as a “calming, happy place” and by staff as “magical” and “where people around here love each other.”  

Ideal applicants should have experience as a successful Head of School or senior-level independent school administrator and hold a degree in education or a related field.
