Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the Annual Fund and manage a robust portfolio of EITC prospects and leadership Perkiomen Fund donors.
  • Develop strategies to increase participation rates and giving levels among key constituent groups; including students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and others.
  • Create and administer programs and activities that identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts from trustees, alumni, parents, and friends of constituents. 
  • Use Senior Systems to record, retrieve, and perform data analysis related to all aspects of the annual fund program. Use statistics and constituency segmentation to evaluate current annual fund programs and to make recommendations to further strengthen.
  • Represent the Perkiomen Fund and promote community awareness to support the Perkiomen Fund program, including use of social media and the web.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist in various fundraising initiatives.
  • Assist the Director of Alumni Affairs with hosting special events such as Alumni Weekend with specific focus on educating, cultivating, and recognizing donors.
  • Assist the Office of Development with the creation and implementation of an annual development plan and calendar.
  • Ensure acknowledgment and recognition of all annual fund gifts and report on progress.
  • Recommend annual financial goals to the Director of Development.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to prepare the school’s Report to Donors.    
  • Identify opportunities for professional development that will demonstrably improve job performance. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that annual operating gifts, capital gifts and planned gifts are part of a holistic philanthropic approach with donors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database functionality and social media.
  • The ability to articulate the priorities and programs of Perkiomen School and identify and understand the philanthropic interests of donors.
  • An understanding of and appreciation for independent school education and the mission and values of Perkiomen School.
  • Ability to travel locally.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
