Partnership Development Manager
Franklin Yard is seeking a Partnership Development Manager to drive the growth of our network of school college counseling departments and independent educational consultants while fostering strong, ongoing relationships with existing partners. In this key role, you will spearhead initiatives to identify and secure new partnerships, develop engagement strategies, and to reveal opportunities to enhance our services and partner experiences.
Your work will involve creating strategic plans tailored to the unique needs of each partner, ensuring they see the value in Franklin Yard’s offerings. By effectively aligning our services with partner objectives, you’ll play a pivotal role in broadening our impact and reinforcing our reputation as a trusted name in test prep.

Starting Salary: $60k-$80k annually + Bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Research:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand partnerships with schools and educational consultants (ECs), positioning Franklin Yard as a preferred test prep partner for their students.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive advantages, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Work with marketing to create and maintain partnership materials like brochures, case studies, and promos, tailored to partner and prospect needs.
- Represent Franklin Yard at industry events to build relationships.
- Relationship Management:
- Maintain and grow relationships with current partners through regular virtual and occasional in-person check-ins and personalized communication.
- Identify ways to increase referrals and participation within existing partnerships.
- Communication & Service Delivery:
- Coordinate with the executive team and key partners to plan and promote service events (webinars, classes, and practice tests).
- Develop post-service engagement plans in collaboration with the marketing and executive teams, including follow-up communication, free offers, and encouraging further engagement.
- Develop and implement outbound and inbound marketing communications plans to expand Franklin Yard services to new networks and increase lead conversion.
- Data Tracking & Reporting:
- Use data to provide insights to senior management and guide partnership strategy.
- Maintain up-to-date information on key contacts and track partnership performance metrics, such as referral rates, service participation, and partner satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Strong understanding of test prep and college admissions preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, Notion, Microsoft Office Suite, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to travel as needed for meetings and events.
