Friends School Haverford is a respected coeducational Quaker elementary school located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, catering to students from Nursery School (starting at age 2) through Fifth Grade. Established in 1885, our school encompasses two facilities: one dedicated to Nursery School and Preschool, and another for Pre-kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Guided by Quaker values and a child-centered approach, our program fosters curiosity, independence, and community. We prioritize inquiry-driven, nature-based learning, believing children flourish through meaningful relationships, purposeful play, and exploration. Our programs are licensed by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS).
