Maintenance Manager
Who You Are
The Episcopal Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Manager. Responsible for supervising a staff of four employees, the Maintenance Manager will oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations across our facilities.
What You Will Do
Oversee the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of campus facilities.
Supervise, train, and support a team of four maintenance employees.
Manage preventive maintenance, work orders, budgeting, reporting, and scheduling.
Develop and implement procedures for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Coordinate repair and installation work and oversee outside contractors and vendors.
Inspect facilities regularly, identify issues, and resolve problems promptly.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control maintenance-related expenses.
Support campus operations through snow removal, event setup, and event security as needed.
Ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.
About You
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Manager at The Episcopal Academy will possess the following:
Experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally in a leadership role.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
Strong understanding of health and safety compliance requirements.
Proven ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to track work, report on activity, and make sound decisions.
Experience with SchoolDude or another CMMS, plus Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Commitment to staying current with best practices in facilities management.
Vocational degree or a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Valid driver’s license.
