Extended Day Program Position
Lansdowne Friends School seeks part-time staff persons for its Extended Day Program (EDP)
for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Staff is needed Monday through Friday for morning
care from 6:45-8:45 a.m. and/or afternoon care from 3-6 p.m. Scheduling can be flexible.
The job offers competitive pay commensurate with experience.
We are looking for a motivated, resourceful, responsible, reliable, professional and creative
individuals who enjoy working with children. Good communication skills are essential. First aid
training and/or babysitting certification preferred but not required.

Core Responsibilities include:
-Multitasking with the primary focus of ensuring children’s safety
-Being vigilant at all times of the children’s whereabouts and surroundings
-Working with other staff members
-Developing and coordinating extended day programming
-Creating a safe and welcoming space for students and families
-Good communication skills with all constituencies, including parents
-Providing quality childcare during school parent/teacher conferences (two days per year)
